His electorate unfortunately didn’t get to choose in anything of what transpired throughout Johnson’s brief stint as our first Lord. More overwhelmingly, the majority of them will now have to endure a further two year’s with a successor chosen instead for them. Preposterous nonsense.
If he has an Ace in reserve, it will I’m sure be revealed to coincide with the announcement on who his successor will be, come the 5th of September. Brexit flummoxed the establishment, perplexed the elected and confounded the electorate.
Hi Martin - Thanks for your comment and for being a paid subscriber! It certainly will be interesting to see what Boris does next. Do you have a preference as to who should be the next PM from the remaining leadership candidates?
Hello Michael and thank you for taking the time to respond to me personally. Preferences are superfluous at this juncture and anyway, we are all passengers still.
Intriguing stuff nevertheless but I hope, as we now all must do, for something more meaningful and made less contentious, even Labour couldn’t argue with that, but the Left they’ll continue to challenge the dead.
