My thought on this is I can't remember Boris getting Brexit done ? The waters are still full of European fishing boats, the immigration is broken and we're still full of EU laws, need I go on,I hope Nigel knows what he's doing after all it was Nigel giving Boris an 80 seat majority and look what happened to that. I think it's a BIG gamble !!!
Rishi's had 9 months doing nothing. The EU fishing boats were allowed to carry on until the fleet got back on its feet. The ECHR and our legal system squashed immigration action and most EU laws protected us. Clean beaches etc.
Nigel has already said he cannot win on his own. Nigel needs big names alongside him, no matter who they are, this includes Boris. However much you dislike Boris he is a charismatic vote winner. So Boris told a few porkies over cakes and wine. Get over it, all politicians tell white lies. Reform UK needs names to help Nigel, so all on the fence come on over.
I agree Mike I will stay with Nigel as I believe him...but still think it's a gamble because I don't think Boris sees anything through. Would like to see Frost,Mogg,Braverman and a few more joining us as well.
Nigel should have instantly rejected the idea and ATTACKED Boris, citing a LIST of failures: Brexit cheated, over-reaction to Covid, mass immigration exploding, massive spending, massive tax rises, continued support for HS2, massive support for Net Zero nonsense and pointless windfarms, endless Green Twaddle...and being Biden's poodle on years of interference and provocation in Ukraine.
Nigel's record is solid and sincere, let's hope he doesn't tarnish it by getting into bed with Boris or any other failed TINO's.
I agree entirely with RW52 and Mrs Bucket in their analysis of the current political situation. The migrant situation both legal and illegal is the thing that gets my goat the most! But, thinking of migration, we were completely hoodwinked with regard to that situation, and in my opinion, we will continue to be hoodwinked for a long time longer... it’s what the elites, WHO, WEF et al want; I have no faith in any mainstream party politician whatsoever on this issue. The plebs, yes that’s us, will be made to endure a false ‘climate catastrophe’, more made up ‘scamdemics’, the complete madness of gender ideology, and our beloved country will become the 3rd world dump that most of these migrant men left behind; we will be drained dry by the locusts that they are whilst being called racist for the privilege of trying to help them at great cost to the tax payer! I hope REFORM can make some credible gains in time because our alternative is Labour and that will a something I am very fearful of! Coming from Tyneside originally I grew up in a Labour stronghold and know only too well the utter shambles they have made of the councils they run there, I have never understood why ordinary working class folk vote for them they are a con, a real false economy!
Suddenly it's Nigel's party? Yes he is President of Reform, but many times I've commented on how Nigel seldom mentioned Reform in his talks. Richard Tice has done all the running and now it's Nigel's party? Mind you we haven't heard a peep about this from Richard.
I read the anti Boris comments in the DT which no longer reflects its old readership. The Spectator is marginally more polite. Happened across The Guardian. Jeez, reminded me of the Hate scene in 1984 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WbJMVVjMCL4 and how noble, how hardworking Starmer is. Sickening. Farage has said he can't do it on his own and Tice's crew are not box office. Separately they are nowhere. Together we might see something and sooner rather than later.
My local prospective Reform guy has come right out and said no to Boris. Well good for him for honesty but I doubt he's done himself or Reform any favours. Both Tories and Reform wiped out. I wonder if he will have words in his ear. It's cat and pigeons time. Somethings got to give, this can't go on for another year although it gives Starmer's lot plenty of time to screw up..

An idea to be considered . All the political circus performers should be re educated by specialist .
They are spectrum and should be classed as "SPECIAL NEEDS"
BAN the use of "My right honourable friend " "HONOURABLE". My arse.
