I am now utterly convinced that Sunak is just following orders from above. How can a PM with any intelligence stand on the steps of No 10 and come out with that statement after all he's done to defend Islam is beyond me and when he turned round to go back in the programme "Spitting Images" jumped into mind. ( am I showing my age now)😁

Boris Johnson on Tory poster Dec 2019: 'Come with us for an Australian-style points-based immigration system'. ANOTHER MASSIVE TORY LIE AND PEOPLE FELL FOR IT. More immigration in one year, 2022, than in the TWENTY years 1980 to 2000. (745,000 - 609,000) And there's worse to come, much worse. Mass immigration is THE NO 1 ISSUE of our time, nothing else comes close. 'Global Warming' is the big, fat red herring hoax to deflect attention away from it.

On the biggest issue, you are correct Mrs B, and also on the global hoax of warming and most anything you say that I've seen. Keep'em coming!

If I lived in Rochdale I'd have voted for George. As the article says the more secular Muslims are like most of us, they want a quiet life. Making enemies of them is the worst thing we can do.

Starrmer's dilemma. GG says he's fielding 60 Workers' Party candidates and is in cahoots with several independents. I love it. Anythng that keeps the quisling Starmer out of no 10. Anything that shuts up Pride Marches, rainbow flags and LGB whatever activism at bay must be a good thing. Controversially Islam is doing what the Tories have failed to do. Wouldn't be my choice in normal times but I'll take what I can get. No Labour ever, at all.

Thank you DR Ehsan, well said, and the statement on the gap between rhetoric and effective policy is perfectly descriptive of the actions of left leaning politicians across the west. I see it in all countries, and even among "so called" conservatives like Sunak.

I consider them to be either Manchurian candidates or willfully blind to the real problems faced by Western countries currently, existential problems from numerous actors looking for the demise of our civilization itself.

The Progressive Left among us is one of the worst of those actors look to radically change our societies to a neo-Marxist Utopia (in their eyes) that will actually give aid to our worst enemies as well as promote insane and destructive policies that will do us great harm in themselves, i.e. green policies and baselold energy destruction, and calling supposed "far right" groups a great danger falsely.

The Left pratices character assassination against anyone who disagrees with theri policies. I hope true conservative leaders arise across the west put us on a course for safety and prosperity.

Stay well MIke and all your subs.
