Reform UK are still holding up well in the national polls. The latest Omnisis survey conducted this month shows Richard Tice’s party to be the main challenger to the Conservatives and Labour.
Polling in third place, Reform are now well ahead of the Liberal Democrats according to this latest research.
The Government meanwhile are talking tough about stopping the boats and trying to sell their new EU Deal - but many Brexiteers clearly aren’t convinced by Rishi Sunak.
Reform had teased a big announcement today - and revealed new members.
Many of my former Brexit Party MEP colleagues have now joined Reform UK: Ann Widdecombe, Ben Habib, June Mummery, Jonathan Bullock, Belinda De Lucy, Rupert Lowe and Christina Jordan.
The party is clearly stepping up its campaign and Richard Tice confirmed Reform’s election intentions.
Tice today revealed that there will be 500 Reform candidates at the May elections.
Then at the next General Election, Tice reiterated the party’s push to stand 630 candidates. Reform will stand everywhere in England, Wales and Scotland. They will not stand down for Conservative MPs.
Also making the Westminster establishment nervous will be the fact that Nigel Farage attended and spoke at the Reform event today, in his role as Honorary President of the party.
The challenge for Tice’s party now is to maintain and build upon Reform’s momentum to win seats at the next election, which is notoriously difficult under the First Past The Post system.
As ever I am interested to hear from readers of Heaver News. Are you currently intending to vote for Reform at the next election?
Already a fully paid up member and will be voting Reform UK next election. I hope and pray the Tories will be in for a shock.
