Well, here we go.
Few predicted that Rishi Sunak was going to call the election yesterday. In fact rumours of a summer General Election had subsided, with a October/November vote looking more likely.
But with the Conservatives having sunk to new lows under Rishi Sunak - and little sign of any improvement in the polls - it appears the Tories have given up hope of a recovery. So why wait? 4th July it is.
As readers of this newsletter will know, Reform UK’s impact on this election adds a completely different element compared to 2019.
Richard Tice has consistently insisted that Reform will not stand down and will be putting up candidates in every constituency.
Of course huge rumours swirled as to whether Nigel Farage would stand for Reform. Today he gave his answer:
“I have thought long and hard as to whether I should stand in the upcoming General Election.
“As Honorary President of Reform UK, I am fully supportive of Richard Tice’s leadership and urge voters to put their trust in him and Lee Anderson.
“I will do my bit to help in the campaign, but it is not the right time for me to go any further than that.
“Important though the General Election is, the contest in the United States of America on November 5 has huge global significance.
“A strong America as a close ally is vital for our peace and security. I intend to help with the grassroots campaign in the USA in any way that I can.
“The choice between Labour and the Conservatives is uninspiring, and only Reform have the radical agenda that is needed to end decline in this country.”
Meanwhile Richard Tice just announced that he will be standing in Boston and Skegness - a key constituency in terms of seats the party will be hoping to win.
As for Reform’s focus, today they held a press conference entitled ‘The Immigration Election’.
That comes as net migration stood at 685,000 in the year to December 2023. It was a staggering 764,000 in 2022.
So, some big decisions ahead for our country. Make sure you subscribe so I can keep you updated during the days and weeks ahead.
Not sure how far Reform can go without him unless they have something else up their sleeve.
Well, Nigel’s decision doesn’t surprise me, I said so last time, he sees that it’s more to everyone’s advantage, including his own, if he agitates from the sidelines on his various platforms and causes waves where necessary as per the likes of the de-banking scandal and applying pressure against signing up to the nefarious WHO pandemic treaty. I can’t blame him for his decision as he’s fought long and hard previously, gained many votes, and not won a seat as per our electoral system… now just isn’t the time! If he’s going to be part of Trump’s campaign and perhaps gain a position in the administration, should it come to pass Trump wins, good luck to him, I think we will benefit as a country in some way too; let’s hope so anyway, she says optimistically!
So that’s Nigel sorted, but what about the rest of us, the common proletariat, where do we go, who do we vote for, what must we do to stop this apparent ‘march of the smug labour politicians, commentators, bourgeoisie useful idiots’, watching them salivate and butt kiss around Starmer is nauseating and very, very worrying and it’s going to send us all nuts by the 4th July. I personally would like to be like Jeffry in Sponge Bob and hide under a large rock down in Bikini Bottom, until the whole episode is over and the useful idiots realise, after electing Starmer, that he and his woefully inadequate, educationally inept cabinet are going to get us all killed, or demographically replaced by every moron and his dog from every other third world country, who by the way are delighted to palm off onto this once great country!
We have two hopes Bob and No 🤷♀️
