We have had by-election results backing up the pretty incredible opinion polls we’ve seen this week.
Can Reform UK win the Welsh Parliament elections? Some polls have already put Reform within a whisker of leading.
This week in Torfaen we saw plainly what the establishment are so worried about.
I’m already noting that some Labour MPs seem to be spending more time attacking Reform now than promoting their own Government.
Expect that to become even more apparent, given Reform just smashed Labour in Wales this week, picking up 47% of the vote.
Labour’s vote fell by 49 points, a truly staggering collapse. There is much more of this to come.
Likewise in Lichfield, Reform gained a seat from Labour after securing 31% of the vote.
Reform Chairman Zia Yusuf is bullish:
“Reform’s win in Lichfield this week means yet another Reform elected official.
“If this vote share were replicated in a General Election, Reform would almost certainly win a majority of MPs and Nigel Farage would be PM.”
Beyond these dramatic results we saw the largest national lead for Reform yet this week.
You may not read much about this elsewhere, but this is incredibly important.
