Here we go again.
A Westminster capitulation to the European Union is coming.
Behind all of the fancy spin are some truly shocking proposals when it comes to Andy Burnham’s EU plan.
Not only will this latest Deal cost British taxpayers a fortune - but it is downright dangerous.
As people struggle in this country amid surging taxes and bills, Labour want to give even more money away.
Despite the country going bust with workers and businesses hammered time and again, it seems Labour’s magic money tree is always there for foreign giveaways.
For instance we hear Burnham’s Deal with the EU could include British taxpayers subsidising EU students to study at our Universities. Why?
This could cost in the region of £450m per year, on top of the ridiculous £570m that the Labour Government agreed to pay to rejoin the EU’s Erasmus scheme for a year.
And I’m sure you’ll be delighted to hear that this EU Deal could also involve British taxpayers paying into EU development schemes.
That’s right: this would mean Brexit UK paying for roads and airports across the EU.
And it gets even worse I’m afraid.
Because the EU also now want to dictate who the UK can and cannot deport.
They are demanding that we don’t deport EU citizen criminals back to their home countries.
Surely a British Government could never agree to such a dangerous demand?
Yet The Times reports:
“A draft copy of the summit’s conclusion circulating among diplomats, and seen by the Brussels news website Rapporteur.com, states that the UK has agreed to the EU demands.
“It says: ‘The UK recognises the concerns of the EU with the early removal and deportation of foreign national offenders from the UK to the EU member states in particular under the Sentencing Act 2026.
“‘The UK commits not to proceed with such removals and deportations in the future in line with full implementation of the withdrawal agreement.’”
As ever it seems those in this country funding a fundamentally broken, unfair system come last as far as our Government are concerned.
None of this should even be considered. It represents a terrible Deal negotiated by a feeble Government ahead of their push to rejoin the European Union entirely.
This negotiation spells out exactly the route we’re going down with Labour. It ain’t pretty.
Hopefully the British people will soon get to have a say on Burnham’s Government.
Certainly the public continue to demand a say, as Matthew Lesh of Freshwater Strategy recently confirmed:
“Voters are expecting an early election, and half want one, finds the City AM/Freshwater Strategy Poll:
“51% say it should be held by the end of 2027. 39% expect one by then. Just 23% want to wait until 2029.“Reform (81%) and Conservative (62%) voters are the keenest on an election by the end of 2027. Labour voters are the most patient: 44% want to wait until 2029, though a third (33%) want one by the end of 2027.”
Hopefully that election comes soon so the public get a say on everything including this ridiculous EU Deal.

The more I read about what the current 'money managers' spend - the more despairing and terrified I become as I am now totally dependent on my two pensions to pay for food and bills.
