The panic has set in.
You’ll recall we heard much talk of the Tories seeking to ‘reform’ the ECHR with a Conservative Prime Minister talking tough on stopping the boats.
In the end, they did nothing and failed.
Sadly, we’re now seeing the same from Labour.
For all the tough talk, the present Government have allowed tens of thousands of illegal migrants to cross into England.
This horrendous situation has resulted in people dying, and already since Shabana Mahmood became Home Secretary thousands more people have been allowed to cross.
It is a disgraceful, dangerous crisis that is totally out of control.
Chat of Labour tweaking human rights laws shows how desperate they are to try and stop Reform.
In the end, Labour’s plan won’t work. The present systems don’t need tweaking, they need smashing.
Exit ECHR, repeal the Human Rights Act, disapply UN Conventions and then detain and deport all illegal migrants.
That is the only way to stop the boats. Anything else is more spin purely designed to try and stop Reform’s momentum.
Meanwhile, more widely on immigration, the verdict is overwhelming.
Opinium now report that:
“72% of the public now say immigration to the UK is too high. Just 3% say it’s too low.
“Even 62% of 2024 Labour voters now think immigration is too high.”
That same research shows that just 16% of the public think that current levels are ‘about right’.
Never forget that it has been both Labour and Tory Governments who have unleashed such extreme open border policies on this country, leading to this growing backlash.
How are the various party leaders performing?
I think this research from Find Out Now tells us much:
“Nigel Farage is the only party leader where more say he is doing ‘well’ than ‘badly’.
“Over two thirds (67 per cent) say Keir Starmer is doing badly as Prime Minister. Only one in ten (10 per cent) disagree.
“Far more people say they know what Nigel Farage stands for compared to other party leaders, this having increased over time and being the only party leader with a net positive score
“Kemi Badenoch and Ed Davey are less known to the public, with half saying they ‘Don’t know’ if they are doing well or badly, and three quarters saying ‘I’m not sure what they stand for’.”
No wonder then that the Prime Minister and his allies clearly view Farage’s Reform as their main opposition.
Meanwhile in France, Emmanuel Macron’s presidency has become an utter shambles.
Another vote of no confidence, another French Prime Minister ousted. First Michel Barnier, now Francois Bayrou.
As France goes bust, Macron has now appointed his third PM in a year. This time it’s his close ally Sebastian Lecornu.
I wonder how long the French political establishment can now limp on for whilst avoiding new elections?
On top of all of this, huge numbers of police have been deployed in France, with concerns that ‘Block Everything’ protests have been infiltrated by the violent extreme left.
Perhaps instead of lecturing the UK about Brexit, Macron should have been focusing on fixing his own broken country.
Nothing Labour does is a 'mistake', everything is exactly as planned to bankrupt Britain, destroy Britain as a country and further the Communist UN's plans. And just out of view behind the UN is China, pulling all the strings. The 'globalist' bogeyman mantra is a red herring. It's all about China, watch last week's military parade, listen to what Xi said, totally on a war footing. Staring us in the face.
And who for one millisecond believes Russia would send drones into Poland? Another false flag psyop pushed by our media.
Hi Michael so glad I rejoined enjoying the newsletters. Macron will fix France he will ask Lier Starmer for more money to protect our borders
