They've Lost Control

Government have failed to stop the boats.

It was one of the big debates at the last General Election.

On one hand you had the Tories talking up their Rwanda plan - that they allowed a European Court to block - whilst Labour spoke about their intention to ‘smash the gangs’.

In truth, neither really had a proper plan to stop the boats.

Whilst Reform pointed out that we must leave the ECHR, the establishment just tried to ignore that reality. They still are.

And so the tragedy is that since 2018, Conservative and Labour Governments have collectively allowed over 197,000 people to cross from France to England illegally on boats.

What is the point of a Government that refuses, over years, to actively defend our borders?

So here we are in 2026 - and the numbers crossing continue to explode.

This shows that for all the talk, neither the Tory nor Labour plan has done anything to actually stop this dangerous emergency.
