The Comeback Is On

He’s back! Well he never really went away.

But Donald Trump’s Inauguration today kicks off a Trump Presidency that has already had a major impact across the world before it even officially begins.

Trump had warned that “all hell will break loose” if Hamas didn’t release hostages by today. Three hostages have now finally been released.

When it comes to Labour’s horrific Chagos Islands surrender plan, where the UK hands over big payments along with sovereignty to Mauritius, Trump’s election victory has put a stop to it. For now at least.

You may not like his style. Personally I do. But there is little denying that it is effective.

With a better organised team than when Trump last came into the White House, expect this Trump Presidency to be a transformative moment for America.

There won’t be time to waste. It seems he is already prepared to sign close to 100 executive orders on his first day back.

Meanwhile Keir Starmer’s limping Government already resembles the stagnant, dismal Biden Presidency.

Labour’s majority was built largely by voters furious with the Tories who simply wanted to boot the Conservatives out.

But what exactly are Labour doing with that majority? Not stopping the boats, ramping up a Net Zero agenda that is moving us closer to blackouts and delivering a budget that has absolutely hammered business and the economy.

And voters have shifted decisively already.

Nigel Farage is already preferred to Keir Starmer when it comes to who voters think would make the best Prime Minister.

It is not the Tories, under new Leader Kemi Badenoch, emerging with fresh momentum but a Reform UK party now boasting over 180,000 members.

So make no mistake about it: the scale of change we’re about to see in America can happen here too.

The prospect of a Farage-led Reform Government is more likely now than it ever has been before.

A long way to go until the next General Election of course and much will happen between now and then.

But just as the Americans intend to now do, we can make this country great again too.
