Could a bad EU Deal result in Cabinet resignations and yet another Conservative leadership challenge?

That seems to be the clear warning splashed over the papers today, with Rishi Sunak’s agreement with Brussels still not released.

Such is the worry from Government about a Brexiteer backlash that it seems this week’s timetable has been delayed. Still no sign of the Deal’s details nor of a vote in Parliament.

That indicates to me that the Sunak Government know what they likely have already agreed isn’t exactly going to get a warm reception from Brexiteers.

EU briefings indicate that there will be a continuing role for the European Court of Justice forever, for instance.

Sunak pressing ahead with this Deal even if the DUP come out against it? Now that would be barmy.
