The Prime Minister is going away. Again.

As the fragile UK economy limps on and the number of illegal migrant boat crossings has already surpassed last year, Keir Starmer is leaving the country once more.

This time he’s off to the G20 summit in South Africa. Incredibly, this will be his 42nd trip in 17 months.

As Labour MPs plot a leadership challenge and the party sinks to fourth place in the polls, it all seems a bizarre choice of priorities.

Especially when just 11% of the country now approves of what the Government are doing.

Meanwhile, we now know that the Conservative legacy is even more appalling than previously thought: net migration actually peaked at 944,000, a truly unforgivable betrayal.

The number of British nationals who left last year was actually 257,000 and not 77,000 as originally estimated.

Over the four years from 2021, a staggering 992,000 Brits left the country.

That is a very sad and worrying trend, especially before yet another ugly Labour tax-raising budget.

And so with a complete lack of proper leadership from the Government, Labour are being punished heavily in by-elections across the country.
