Reform vs. Greens
Britain faces a clear choice.
This is the new battle.
Both Labour and the Conservatives have now fallen to such an extent that neither is either the first or second most popular political party in the latest polling.
So our country now faces a huge decision.
This comes at a time when the Labour Government have demonstrated a complete lack of leadership. Once again.
The American and Israeli strikes on Iran have prompted an embarrassing response from our Government.
Labour’s initial refusal to allow America to use UK bases has clearly damaged the relationship with President Trump.
Even now, the Government’s position is to only allow defensive action against Iran’s evil regime.
That’s after Britain’s Royal Air Force base in Cyprus was hit by a drone strike.
So we have badly let down our allies at a crucial moment, even as the likes of Canada and Australia have given their support.
Meanwhile we see the dangerous lunacy of Net Zero exposing the UK and Europe, making us vulnerable.
Ed Miliband’s crackdown on new North Sea oil and gas exploration is utter madness.
As energy bills soar, so now are gas prices as Qatar begins limiting production.
It all underlines the desperate situation our country is in.
And now the new battle lines have been drawn.
Because off the back of the Green Party’s by-election victory last week, it is they who are now the main challenger to Reform UK.
YouGov are now recording Reform on 23%, with the Greens in second on 21%.
That compares to both Labour and the Tories on just 16%.
The Green cocktail of even more extreme energy policies coupled with complete open borders would destroy our country.
But that dangerous Green threat must now be taken seriously. Reform must tackle it head-on.
Meanwhile, when it comes to a collapsing Labour Party?
Given they still have that whopping parliamentary majority, I predict that if the polls remain as they are today, Labour will scramble to change the voting system last minute.
I also doubt Keir Starmer will last as PM much beyond the May elections now.
And don’t underestimate just how desperate Labour will become as they approach electoral extinction.
