Reform UK Poll Rise & GB News Rattling Establishment
Poll indicates Reform currently on course to win seats.
Hello all and welcome back to Heaver News! As ever I hope you are all well.
My last article focused on the shift in the polls we’ve seen since Rishi Sunak’s watering down of the Net Zero agenda. As ever I am grateful to paid subscribers of this newsletter for your comments, including from Charles who had this to say in response:
“I am not surprised that the Tory polls are improving with signs of pragmatism returning over Net Zero.
“I have though still a belief that the con-socialists we have in charge will never satisfy me that they are willing to move away from a managed decline for the UK.
“In the years since Brexit I feel that our Governments have not been willing to grasp total responsibility for driving real changes as we should lose a lot of the European red tape.
“I thought this may be inertia due to our country not being so used to taking autonomous decisions that had been delegated to the EU.
“After reflection I perceive our parliamentary system has also become more bureaucratic and delegating authority to quangos and other organisations that are not accountable to the voters via Parliament.
“I voted leave the EU because of sovereignty. Now I think our own Governments have been slowly dissolving our own democracy!”
Mrs. Bucket hasn’t been won over by Sunak’s pledges either, calling for action from Reform UK:
“Tice must HAMMER the LibLabCon.
“There is a mountain of evidence that their pre-election promises have ALL been broken again and again and again and again and again.
“They CANNOT be trusted, none of them. Reform must destroy the glossy images they present. Judge them on their appalling records, not more promises.”
The scepticism from paid supporters of Heaver News towards the Government doesn’t end there. RW52’s review of Home Secretary Suella Braverman’s recent speech was that:
“A very good speech by Braverman but it is a SPEECH...I'm utterly fed up of SPEECHES...Vote Reform...”
And Lia also seemed to share a similar sentiment, commenting:
“How gullible people are. Sunak only has to say that he is thinking of rowing back on the Net Zero debacle and already the polls react in his favour.
“Haven't we all learnt that what he says and what he does are two entirely different things?”

So whilst there has been a clear shift in the national polls with Labour’s lead over the Tories narrowing slightly, there has also been a noticeable increase in support for Reform UK.
It has gone very much under the radar, but two recent surveys both point to positive news for Reform that could well see the party win seats.
