Record Reform Result
As Labour's collapse continues.
Another week, another pretty astonishing by-election result.
In fact we’ve just seen the highest Reform UK vote share in any election. A sign of the times.
This comes at a moment when Labour are wobbling badly.
They are led by a Prime Minister in Keir Starmer who seems to be spend little time actually in this country trying to sort things out here.
Astonishingly, it now emerges that the Labour Leader has spent around a sixth of his time as PM on foreign trips, a record amount of time.
That’s because Labour clearly have no answers except continuing the Conservative legacy: weak borders, high taxes, national decline.
So it doesn’t surprise me to see rumours of a Labour leadership plot.
The public have taken a close look at what Starmer and his party are actually doing with their parliamentary majority.
And they aren’t impressed.
Next year’s elections therefore could be utterly devastating for Labour.
The Welsh Parliament election polling currently gives a Plaid Cymru and Reform UK close to 40 seats each.
Labour are a distant, distant third, winning 11 seats.
It is likely therefore that the Labour leadership challenge won’t come after the Budget later this month - as rumoured - but after next May’s elections if Labour’s performance is that bad.
Labour MPs increasingly can see that they face an electoral wipeout. Nothing is off limits now.
Polling firm Find Out Now have recorded, for the third time in a row, British politics changing forever.
Their current research has shown Reform ahead by a distance, with the Greens in second place.
Even the Tories are ahead of Labour, who sit fourth on just 15%.
Not one, rogue poll. The last three have given roughly this same verdict.
And you can see these polls backed up by election results. It’s happening every week now.
Yesterday, a Council by-election in Reform Deputy Leader Richard Tice’s constituency showed this to be true.
Reform scored 65.8%, a new record, gaining yet another seat from the Conservatives.
Both the Tory and Labour vote completely collapsed here. The Conservatives came second on just 16%, with Labour on barely 5% of the vote.
This is a sign of things to come.

To be a leader you have to have at least a bit of charisma , you also need to be able to speak without constantly saying "err" and you need to not keep repeating the same old lines "let me be clear" and you need direction , stammer fails on every level , he's like a compass in a magnet factory. Why could everyone not see how useless he was before they were elected. His departure can't come soon enough, we will have to ride the storm , there should at least be plenty of boats.
2 conservative councillors in Stourbridge (Dudley council, West Midlands) defected to Reform on Monday.
