I attended the Reform UK Conference in Birmingham last week and there was a very big, ambitious aim: to get Nigel Farage into Downing Street in 2029.

Could it happen? Well there is already plenty of evidence that the party has built momentum since the election a few months ago.

There was a buzz at this Conference. Clearly breaking through into the House of Commons made the election a success for Reform.

Now the focus is on building a national infrastructure ahead of the big local elections next May.

Chairman Zia Yusuf has been leading the charge on professionalising what is still a a fairly new party.

Building local branches nationwide and professionalising the party is a big task - but here is why Reform’s Conference targets are realistic.
