It is well established that many in Westminster never accepted the 2016 referendum result and did everything they could to try and stop Brexit.

Since then some have gone quiet. Labour’s thrashing at the 2019 Election demonstrated that hardline Remainerism is fringe compared to the Brexiteer majority in this country.

Keir Starmer’s Labour Party have since tried to duck the issue. But given the presence of hardcore Remoaners at the top of Labour, including Starmer himself, voters are right to be sceptical.

We’ve heard that when it comes down to it, Labour MPs are still desperate to Rejoin EU. They just know how unpopular that would be so are keeping quietish, for now.

Labour also seem to be selecting candidates who want to reverse Brexit. I’ll be keeping an eye on this.

One prominent Labour figure who has spoken out regularly about a Rejoin agenda has been London Mayor Sadiq Khan.

Here we go again... Sadiq Khan is slagging off Brexit & is calling for Britain to rejoin the EU single market No wonder many voters say Labour can't be trusted on Brexit!

So it is in that context that an increasing number of Brexiteers are now sounding the alarm.
