They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning.
We will remember them.
After years of senior Labour figures making totally obscene comments about Donald Trump, they’ve been left looking utterly ridiculous.
With Trump having completely crushed Kamala Harris in the US Election, the Labour Government are now desperately scrambling to backpedal.
The situation is even more serious because the incoming US President is looking at a huge ‘America First’ tariff regime that will hammer communist China and possibly the European Union too.
Brexit is a huge advantage. There is already talk of a potential carve-out or special deal for Brexit UK as long as we stand away from the EU’s orbit.
What the Government should be doing therefore is accepting Nigel Farage’s generous offer to be a bridge between the UK and the new Trump Administration.
Instead it seems Keir Starmer’s allies are determined to play petty party politics, rejecting any notion of taking up Farage on his offer to help in the national interest.
Don’t forget, Prime Minister Starmer himself has previously dismissed any notion of the UK actually moving away from EU alignment and rules.
If Labour mess this up, just as the Tories did in failing to secure a UK-US Deal when Trump was previously in the White House, you know who to blame.
Once again Labour figures are showing themselves to be small-minded and are making another huge error in rejecting Nigel’s help.
Reform UK are getting organised.
In the most recent week of local Council by-elections, the party actually stood more candidates than Labour.
As ever there were some interesting results. Reform came within 12 votes of winning another seat in Blackpool, with the Tories in a distant third splitting the vote and letting Labour in.
That isn’t what happened in Wyre though, where Reform came from nowhere to winning over 38% of the vote and gaining the seat.
The most worrying part for Kemi Badenoch? Reform gained the seat from the Conservatives.
Meanwhile, for all of the talk about the Conservatives learning lessons from their election defeat, just look at what’s happening in the London Assembly.
On a motion put forward in the Assembly, the Tories abstained whilst Labour, the LibDems and Greens voted for.
Just one Assembly Member from Reform voted against.
What was the motion actually on? As the lone Reform AM, Alex Wilson, put it this week following the vote:
“I was the ONLY member of the London Assembly to vote against Labour’s absurd proposal to provide free transport to illegal immigrants in London.”
Once again the Tories talk a good game then bottle it. Haven’t they learnt anything?
If only we had a leader like Trump....the man has a backbone and balls....something Smarmer wouldn't know about....if he can't say what a woman is, then he doesn't know the attributes of a man. We could do well with America, but Smarmer wants to sell us out to the WEF and give everything to the effing illegals, which quelle surprise, have gone up in number. What a loathsome creature he is, to put illegals before our homeless Vets and the elderly. I.would say how can he sleep at night, but he's probably too busy looking in the mirror.
Here we go, here we go, here we go
Here we go, here we go, here we go oh
Here we go, here we go, here we go
Here we go oh, here we go!
Love Lee's anthem, it's Churchillian in its straight to the point obvious🤣🤣🤣
