How much lower can it get?
The extent to which Keir Starmer’s Government has totally collapsed in terms of public support really is remarkable.
This should still be a Prime Minister basking in positivity, being given the benefit of the doubt by those who backed Labour.
Instead, Labour have been found out very quickly indeed.
After previously talking down any prospect of tax rises, the Rachel Reeves budget has quickly pummelled business and workers.
There is absolutely no sign whatsoever that the Government have any serious plan to stop illegal immigration, despite talking tough. It’s the Tories mark two.
And Keir Starmer himself is clearly not impressing the public in terms of leadership.
Already he’s sucking up to Brussels, with a partial return to EU open borders and the UK accepting the jurisdiction of another European Court now on the cards.
Labour’s voter coalition included many who backed the party simply to kick the Conservatives out.
But the public have now seen the Government’s agenda and the verdict is in from YouGov:
“For the first time, Nigel Farage is ahead of Keir Starmer by more than the margin of error in our favourability polling.”
When the public are now asked who the better pick for Prime Minister is, Starmer loses against all recent PMs except Liz Truss.
Everyone from Tony Blair and Margaret Thatcher to Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak are now preferred to Starmer.
Just how low can Labour go? The Government’s approval now sits at a pitiful 14%.
That’s right, a party that secured a parliamentary majority just last year is now running a Government backed by less than 15% of voters.
68% of voters now disapprove of the Government, a staggering turnaround in a relatively short period of time.
But it isn’t the Conservatives emerging as the opposition.
Today Techne have become the latest polling firm to record a Reform UK lead.
The trend is clear: Reform leading, Labour declining to second place and the Tories now the third party.
A long way to go of course, but we are currently on the pathway towards a Reform Government.

I think that he knows what a mess he is in. There will be no way out other to commit to a war and that will destroy the country. Nero had this problem and so does the Liebour party. A new election has to be called.
I absolutely detest everything about this set of morons! They are the most destructive group of people that could ever have been voted into office in this country. I cannot forgive anyone who voted them in thinking they would be good for this country. They are ripping up the rule book on our judiciary and exploiting it for their own gain, they detest the proper British people of this nation, they suck up to every foreign piece of crap legislation, they make themselves the stasi of Britain delving into our banks, try to force Apple to letting them ‘into our phones’ … it’s never ending … I can’t say politely what I hope happens to each one of them every time they give away our money, sovereignty, nationality and rights… I can’t say politely what I hope happens to them when I hear of yet another migrant related crime and we lose another child… they are all protected and their families too … it’s us out here at the coal face that are well and truly scuppered! Let’s hope Reform can do it next time 👍
