So Keir Starmer’s Labour Party are already disintegrating.
The main motivation for Labour voters at the last election was to kick the Tories out. Job done on that front.
But will those who backed Starmer be impressed by the stench already surrounding the party? I doubt it.
The Labour Conference was farcical, with delegates themselves showing they disagreed with the party leadership.
Labour members rebelled, voting for the Government to reverse the cuts to winter fuel payments.
In other words, even the Labour Conference already disagrees with the Starmer leadership.
And this is all just months into a new Government that has done little to inspire.
It was obvious that Starmer’s strategy was to stand back and watch the Tories tear themselves apart infighting. But what is his compelling vision?
As has been pointed out time and again, there was no Labour landslide in terms of votes.
Our bizarre electoral system delivered two-thirds of seats to Labour with around one-third of the vote.
Now as the party comes under greater scrutiny, Labour are already disintegrating in spectacular fashion.
