I enjoy reading the comments from paid subscribers and there was recently a big reaction to my article about whether or not the Conservative Government would implement the agenda of Home Secretary Suella Braverman.
Maureen is concerned that the Truss Government apparently won’t be ditching the ECHR, as Braverman as advocated:
“Suella is spot on and why am I surprised to hear this is not government policy. I was given to understand by Truss herself that we would leave ECHR. More misinformation and deceit it seems?”
Whilst Penny is, like me, a big fan of Braverman too:
“I would have been happy if Suella had become our new Prime Minister....she has the oomph that Liz sadly seems to lack.”
In my view the Tories have two choices: listen to and implement the Braverman agenda, or lose the next election.
