Hello all and welcome back to Heaver News! As ever, I hope you are all well.
The huge impact that a Nigel Farage return would have has now been confirmed - and it isn’t just the Tories who should be worried.
First of all though allow me to thank the paid subscribers of this newsletter for supporting my work, including John who has just upgraded. Cheers!
Responding to my previous article, paid subscriber Elizabeth gave this assessment in the comments section:
“Anybody else bored with the argument don't vote Reform they can't win?
“Vote Reform because you don't want anything else is my reply.
“If you vote Reform you get Labour......and!!!! What's the difference. It’s a tired old argument that doesn't resonate anymore.
“I spoiled my paper last week because there's nothing to vote for and there is NO LEAST WORST anymore.”
To which another paid subscriber, Mrs Bucket, responded:
“Reform won't win a goldfish if they don't MASSIVELY up their game.”
Whilst Zorro gave this verdict on Reform:
“It appears they have meetings in very small wine bars.
“Helluva job for Ticey to choose 650 PPCs on his own without a Party apparatus. Sunak and Starmer don't choose their candidates (apart from Starmer accepting Tory MPs).”
The task for Reform is massive - but I maintain that Richard Tice has done an exceptional job getting the party to where it is, regularly third in the national polls.
Of course the next challenge is to try and overtake the Tories and win seats at the General Election.
With that in mind, speculation continues to swirl when it comes to the next steps of one Mr. Farage.
Unsurprisingly, new research points to a colossal impact from Nigel if he does decide to return to the political fray.
And it wouldn’t just be Rishi Sunak’s party who would see supporters make a switch - some who are currently backing Keir Starmer’s Labour would too.
