We might still have a country left by 2027 but I'm not so sure about 2029 so fingers crossed for an early GE. I'm not blaming Labour for all of it, but they had a bloody long time to make plans and it seems that didn't cross their minds....unless doubling the alleged black hole and increasing the number of illegal immigrants was the plan, in which case they're well on target. Have a good weekend all and thank you as always, for your updates Michael.

Well I do blame Labour for most of it. Given what we’ve seen so far, ie a Maoist reset of our country by student ideologues, it may be just as well that they weren’t too good at planning. I’m fairly sure that Kevin Spanner’s one key mission, given to him by his bum chums in Brussels and Davos, was to create the right conditions for sliding us back into the EU. At least the current chaos on his ship of fools may undercut that objective. Plus Corbyn, the main likely beneficiary of Labour’s splits, is no fan of EU.

I was merely saying that the Tories certainly hadn't done us any favours during their tenure. I don't disagree with your comment and I'm aware that Starmer has already made moves to get us back into the EU, but I wasn't looking for an agressive argument.
