Tory voters are split down the middle when it comes to Boris Johnson.

Big Boris Split
The extent to which Conservative opinion is still divided on Boris Johnson is quite remarkable.
I was told yesterday that the Conservative Post petition to include Boris on the leadership ballot was now signed by a whopping 12,000 Conservative members.
YouGov’s research shows Tory voters are totally split on whether Johnson should continue as Prime Minister or resign.
They asked: “Do you think Boris Johnson should resign from his role as Prime Minister, or should he remain in his role?”
Whilst 69% of voters overall want Boris to resign, there is an an even split with Conservative voters: 46% say he should resign, 46% say he should remain as PM and 8% don’t know.
A similar research study by Public First found a a near-identical outcome with Conservative voters split down the middle when it comes to Boris Johnson’s future.
It presents a real challenge for whoever wins the Conservative leadership contest. No wonder there is already speculation about a dramatic Boris PM return.
Public Want Cut To Migration Numbers
Whilst the BBC didn’t think the issue was important enough to discuss in their PM Debate, we know that Immigration & Asylum is now the number two issue for both Conservative and Leave voters as revealed previously in the Brexiteer Bulletin.
It wasn’t that long ago that the likes of David Cameron and Theresa May were pledging to deliver net migration down to the tens of thousands per year.
EU open borders meant they couldn’t deliver. Post-Brexit, a Conservative Prime Minister could now deliver on that promise.
And that would have massive public support. A bombshell Deltapoll for Migration Watch UK has revealed once again what the British public think, despite mainstream media trying to duck the issue entirely.
