No wonder Labour are so rattled.
The Reform revolution has seen the party surge into massive national poll leads, culminating in that incredible set of local elections earlier this month.
And the now established view from voters, that Reform UK is the party that best represents workers, will disturb Keir Starmer and his allies.
YouGov have found that more Brits now think Reform represents working people compared to any other political party in the country.
Whilst on the critical issue of immigration, Ipsos reported the following:
“Reform UK enjoys the highest level of trust on having the right immigration policies (37%), handling migrant crossings of the English Channel (39%), and making illegal entry more difficult (42%).
“Conservatives are the least trusted party on these issues.”
That makes yesterday’s declaration from Nigel Farage even more consequential.
The prospect of a Reform Government is becoming more likely - with an agenda that is a direct challenge to Starmer’s Labour.
