Hello all and welcome back to another edition of Heaver News!

As ever thank you for the feedback and comments from paid subscribers in response to my last article.

Mrs. Bucket was complimentary about my post questioning why we still have an unelected Lords, whilst RW52’s verdict is that:

“The Lords is unfit for purpose. It survives because our MPs and Prime Ministers have been and still are weak in every sense...They are a disgrace!”

The idea of a radical post-Brexit shape-up of Westminster I think would be hugely popular. Mike backed up that perspective by saying:

“Whichever party decides to get rid of the Lords would get my vote.

“Very unlikely I know, because some want to retire there and others have just not got the intelligence or will power to do it, like Sunak. It needs a brand new party like Reform UK.”

Now we can increasingly see the scale of backlash the Conservatives are facing - and the upcoming by-elections ain’t gonna be pretty for them.

How wise was it for Conservative MPs to oust Boris Johnson and then Liz Truss?

The latest research points to Rishi Sunak’s party being crushed at the polls and there is little sign of a turnaround.
