As the economy stagnates and the Labour shambles continues, big things are happening across the country.
In by-election after by-election, Reform UK are now sweeping the board.
This in a country that has now seen both Conservative and Labour Governments allow our borders to be completely open to illegal migration.
On 6th September our Government allowed 1,096 people to cross from France to England on 17 boats in a single day.
The day after 65 people on a single boat were allowed to cross.
Then on 9th September another 674 crossed on 9 boats.
The 10th September then saw a further 188 people cross on 3 boats.
Get the picture yet?
Labour, just like the Tories, have refused to do what is necessary to stop this national security emergency.
For that alone, they deserve to be utterly annihilated at the next election.
And British voters clearly agree, given the spectacular election results we’ve witnessed this week.
In Newmarket, Reform gained a seat from Labour who fell to fourth.
Whilst in Walsall, Reform hit 45% and took a seat from the Tories.
And in Bedfordshire, Reform beat Labour easily for yet another gain.
It isn’t just happening in England: in the Vale of Glamorgan in Wales, Reform gained another seat from Labour.
An incredible set of results that demonstrate why Labour are now in meltdown.
As President Trump himself said, the assassination of Charlie Kirk is a very dark moment for America.
Not just America though. For all who believe in democracy and free speech.
There are of course nutters on both sides of the political spectrum.
But the demonisation of those who simply believe in strong borders, for instance, as somehow being dangerous extremists is totally out of control.
Back in April, Charlie Kirk himself highlighted this disturbing piece of research:
“Assassination culture is spreading on the left.
“Forty-eight percent of liberals say it would be at least somewhat justified to murder Elon Musk.
“Fifty-five percent said the same about Donald Trump.”
With Trump himself having narrowly avoided also being assassinated, this is clearly a real and growing threat.
The horrendous assassination of Charlie Kirk has also confirmed to me that I’m absolutely right to spend as little time on social media as possible nowadays.
The number of twisted videos and messages that have been posted celebrating the cold murder of a father and husband is truly sickening.
Social media is a fantastic hub for information that is incredible in many ways.
But I would much rather spend my life with family and friends than staring into a phone, on apps where sick people clearly devoid of love or compassion post the most horrendous things just to get some attention.
I’ll leave you with this from Charlie Kirk’s article in The Spectator, where he contrasted his experience at Oxford and Cambridge Unis to our country at large:
“In Britain at large, a very different attitude prevails.
“I spoke to everybody I could while there, from drivers and blue-collar workmen to journalists and the shockingly large number of people who recognised me in the streets. What I heard from them was clear.
“They’re angry at Britain’s net-zero-driven energy stagnation. They’re furious at the Biden-esque levels of immigration inflicted on them by their ‘Conservative’ government in the past decade.
“Over and over, they told me they were ready to smash the British party system to bits and elect a Reform Prime Minister. The great turn in Britain is coming.
“And when it arrives, the students of Oxbridge will be the most surprised of all.”
Nigel must know that powerful forces will try to end his success. I hope his security is MUCH better than poor Charlie Kirk's.
We’re boiling beneath the surface , furious but determined as my parents who fought and lost much in wars, lived to see freedom and better days- we must fight this left filth or we’ll be a Russian, Chinese,Nortb Korean country
