Labour's budget won't be pretty.

Labour’s budget tomorrow is likely to be ugly. Very ugly.

As the asylum and benefits bills absolutely skyrocket, we know that an exodus is underway of people leaving the country as the Government hammers workers and businesses.

Further tax raids by the Government aren’t exactly going to help the situation.

Even Labour MPs increasingly realise the game is up. The leadership jockeying has started, with Wes Streeting and Angela Rayner seemingly the two frontrunners.

Rayner is now preferred by Labour members vs. Starmer by a margin of 52% to 33%.

But given the Government are continuing the high tax, weak borders Tory death spiral of our country, changing the Leader is unlikely to make much difference.

They are all aware now that the Reform surge in the polls is real, backed up by sweeping by-election wins across the country.

With a big set of elections next year, it could be absolute carnage for both Starmer’s Labour and Kemi Badenoch’s Conservatives.

As the country braces itself for another horrendous Labour budget, Westminster knows that next year’s set of elections could change everything.
