Big Week, Big Figure

Thursday could lead to a major backlash against the Government.

There has been much talk about what a Conservative Government with a big majority should be delivering.

Of course Leave voters gave Boris Johnson’s party the overwhelming mandate to seize Brexit opportunities.

Now Johnson is gone as PM and instead we’ve seen two very different Conservative agendas from Liz Truss and now Rishi Sunak.

But the defining issue of the Brexit referendum - and voters demanding not just control but firm action - has seen the Government blatantly fail to deliver.

Already many are predicting that Thursday’s new figures could spark a backlash against the Government. One that lands another crushing blow against the prospects of the Tories winning the next election.
