Great news!
I’ve just been informed by Reform UK that my application to stand as a candidate in the election for the Party Board has been approved.
That means we now move into the nomination stage: I require 10 Reform Branch Chairs to support me.
They can do so by emailing me at: Michael@MHeaver.com.
This is important. I want to contribute and help secure a Reform Government using my experience given I’ve been an activist, candidate, MEP and of course having launched Heaver News.
As Labour raise taxes, fail to stop the boats and accelerate the sad decline of our country, they are also getting desperate.
We saw English local elections cancelled at just a few months notice in some of Reform’s strongest areas.
Then we heard that the Mayoral voting system would be changed after stunning Reform victories across the country.
And now Labour are set to give children aged 16 and 17 the vote at the next General Election.
There isn’t even a huge demand for this from young people themselves: half of 16 and 17-year-olds are against people their age getting to vote.
The whole thing is total desperation from Labour - but I’m confident that it won’t work.
Focaldata’s latest research shows that even with those aged 16 and 17 being allowed to vote, Reform still lead Labour in the polls by 3 points.
This is no time to be complacent, of course.
But it does show you that whatever tricks Labour are planning, the demand for radical political change continues to grow. It cannot be buried or ignored any longer.
Well done Michael, onwards and upwards.
Great news Michael! In the many years I’ve known you, you’ve never messed up, made no mistakes, had no scandals or questions over your integrity and fair minded, clear loyalties to country and the parties you’ve served. Hugely important that you’re on the board, watch out for moles and backstabbers. Push hard for common sense actions and if people suggest ideas that sound strange be very suspicious. As you know, UKIP had some wronguns on the NEC, how Nigel couldn’t see through them is slightly concerning. Top of the list, Nigel MUST learn to delegate, choose good people, experts in their fields, as spokesmen and women and let them shine. Nigel cannot be the only voice on every subject. Reform MUST start to look like a TEAM, a government in waiting - and not a one man band.
