Hello and welcome once again to Heaver News! I hope you are all well.
A big thank you once again to the many paid supporters of this newsletter, including those who have just joined.
My aim with Heaver News has always been to stand up for Brexiteers who are often forgotten in the mainstream media debate.
Time and time again now I see the lessons of the Brexit revolt already long forgotten by Remainstream media.
You do have to laugh when blatantly Remain-backing media types ask two Remain-backing politicians to give their insight as to what’s happening. The diversity brigade rarely spot see the irony. But the public’s appetite for cosy comfort zone discourse is fast waning anyway.
The truth is I’ve been highlighting the massive impact Reform were likely to have on the next General Election for a while now. Readers of Heaver News have been truly ahead of the curve on this.
It was always blatantly obvious that following the debacle of ousting Boris Johnson and then Liz Truss for Rishi Sunak, there would be an almighty backlash.
Especially when rather than stopping the boats, the numbers crossing from France to England are actually increasing again.
And when we find out that England’s population rose by a completely absurd 7.5% - up 4.3 million - between 2011 and 2022. Driven by mass migration, of course.
Such is the disdain for what the Conservative Party have delivered in Government - not pledged, talked about or considered - but done, that paid subscribers of Heaver News are clearly furious. As ever you can get involved in the comments section by upgrading.
Giving his perspective on the London Mayoral race and the prospects of Conservative candidate Susan Hall, Patrick has said:
“The Tories are not really interested in Susan Hall doing well.
“The establishment of the party did everything they could to insert a globalist, centrist candidate, but when they failed they decided Hall sounds too much like a person with actual conservative views.
“So they’ve hung her out to dry. It is impossible to find the words to describe the Tory establishment/HQ types.”
The truth is that Labour’s London Mayor Sadiq Khan is beatable - but you are now talking about a Tory Party hoovering up around only 20% support nationally.
Compare that to say April 2021 when the Conservatives were sitting on 44% support, with a healthy 10-point lead over Labour. Boy have things changed.
Reform’s support in that 2021 YouGov poll? Just 2%. Fair to say the electorate now has a decidedly different outlook in 2024 election year - as I’ll set out below.
